Easter celebration

The Armenian Easter celebration, in which the EU returnee children and their parents in the course of the RECEA project in the Armenian capital Yerevan on 31st March participated, left a deep impression. The celebrations and roadshows told the returnees, accompanied by co-workers of the RECEA center and the organisation “Hope and Help”, about many national specific customs and rituals. Beside the visit of a church Easter celebration ceremony the children and parents could learn a lot about the history of the Armenian Easter celebration. A festive Easter dinner with accompanying cultural programme simply had to be there.
